A. Mcadoo

Alvah Dean McAdoo, beloved Son of his mother and father born June 26, 1922 near Kingston, OK, entered into eternal life on January 8, 2009. He was the beloved husband to Rosa Lue Watterson McAdoo married June 28, 1945 and she preceded him into eternal life in April. He is survived by one son Bob wife Sandra of Durant, OK; 2 grandsons Bob II and wife Melody of Durant, OK and Daniel and wife Amber of Cleveland OH. Bill as his family and friends knew him was a minister for 42 years and pastored The Church of God of Prophecy in Portales for years. He was beloved by all who knew him as he was a jokester, telling Old Man jokes any time you saw him as he always wanted to make people laugh. He loved to sing for his Savior and was ready at any time he was called upon. He will be missed by his family and friends, but is not missing any of us as he is rejoicing on the street of gold with all of those loved ones and friends gone on before.

A graveside service will be at 10:00 a.m. Saturday, January 17, 2009, at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis, NM.
