A. B. Marchman Jr., age 84, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away December 27, 2011 in Lebanon, Tennessee.

He was born February 22, 1927 in Clovis, New Mexico to A.B. and Viola Dodson Marchman. After high school, he joined the United States Navy and served on the USS AJAX during World War II. He married Mary Lexie Hutchison on June 29, 1946 in Lingo, New Mexico. He Lived in Clovis, New Mexico most of his life and owned Southwest Brokers on West Seventh Street in Clovis, New Mexico. He was a member of Prince Street Baptist Church.

He is survived by his son Jacky Vickie Marchman of Lebanon, Tennessee one daughter Lexie Emmitt Sparks of Clovis, New Mexico one sister Eva Wagner of Festus, Missouri six granddaughters: Robin Glen Crenshaw, Kenda Richardson, Brenda Kevin Foster, Tiffeny Jude Smith, Jada Albert Bryants, Dayla Daniel Hosaka nine great grandchildren, one great great grandchild and numerous nieces and nephews his long time friend and coffee buddy Richard Ruther and his friend and travel companion Lou Cagle.

He was preceded in death by his parents, wife, two sisters and one brother.

Graveside Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, December 30, 2011 at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, New Mexico with Greg Martin officiating.
