Ada Defoor

Ada Mae Defoor, 93, went to be with her Lord on September 10, 2015 in Clovis, NM.

A Graveside Service will held at 10:00 a.m., Monday September 14, 2015 at Ft. Sumner Cemetery with Anna Teeter Gentile officiating.

Ada Mae was born to Claude and Vesta (Stephens) Edwards on April 6, 1922 in Ricardo, NM. She Graduated from Ft. Sumner High and then went on to a business school in Albuquerque. She married Gradon Allen Defoor November 22, 1945, who precedes her in death. To this union Alta Darlene, a still born and Dennis Earl were born. She retired in 1982 from New Mexico Human Services Department.

She had nine siblings of which only one sister LaVelle Wilson survives her. Other survivors are Dennis and wife Denise Defoor, grandson Doug and his wife Brittany Defoor, great grandson Mason Defoor, great granddaughter Abby Defoor, along with sister in laws, nephews, and nieces.

Memorials may be given to Baptist Children Home in Portales, NM.
