Ada Fitzgerald

Ada Fay Fitzgerald, age 98, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on May 7, 2012 at Retirement Ranch in Clovis, New Mexico.

Ada was born on June 16, 1913 to James Sanders and Ora Bell Edwards Rierson in Bellview, New Mexico. She married W. M. Mac Fitzgerald on March 8, 1933 in Grady, New Mexico. Ada loved quilting and playing all types of games. She was a member of the Oak Street Baptist Church.

Ada is survived by three sons: William Ray Fitzgerald of Clovis, New Mexico, Howard Priscilla Fitzgerald of Big Sandy, Texas and Larry Judy Fitzgerald of Clovis, New Mexico daughtersin law: Patsy Fitzgerald of Mountainair, New Mexico and Telita Fitzgerald of Lovington, New Mexico one sister: Nora Belle Darnell of Oregon fourteen grandchildren thirtytwo great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.

She was preceded in death by her husband, W. M. Mac: Fitzgerald two brothers: Jesse and Herman Rierson one sister: Fannie Rierson and three sons: Jimmy, Leslie and Alton.

Funeral Services are at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, May 11, 2012 at SteedTodd Chapel with Kenneth Dunsworth, officiating. Casket bearers are Adas grandchildren Trotter Boyles, DAna Riley, Bill Fitzgerald, Donna Fitzgerald, Sherrill Kelly and Terrye Pino. Honorary Casket Bearers are all of Adas grandchildren and all of her friends. Interment will follow at Hollene Cemetery, Hollene, New Mexico.
