Adeline Thomas

Adeline Thomas, age 82, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away February 6, 2015 at her home.

Adeline was born December 26, 1932 in Saxton, Pennsylvania to Gustino Chiarizia and Helen Chauvenne. She grew up in Saxton, PA, and graduated from Saxton Liberty High school. Adeline married William W. Thomas on November 1, 1949. They lived an Air Force life, living in many different places. They raised four children and helped raise several grandchildren. They made Clovis their home for the last 38 years. Her passion was family and cooking. No one ever left her home hungry.

She is preceded in death by her husband, William W. Thomas, granddaughter Crystal Cotham, her parents, daughter in law Terry Thomas, brothers Camil and Louie, Steve and Art, and sisters Verda and Elizabeth.

Adeline is survived by three sons; Grant R. Thomas of El Paso, TX, Michael A. Thomas of Albuquerque, NM, Keith A. Thomas and wife Laurie of Portales, NM; one daughter, Renee M. Thomas of Clovis, NM; two brothers, Robert Chiarizia of Colonial Beach, VA, and Silvin Chiarizia of Oak Island, NC; and one sister, Helen Autrey of Colonial Beach, VA.

A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m., Saturday, February 14, 2014 at Steed-Todd Chapel in Clovis, New Mexico.
