Albert Hayter

alignjustify Albert Hayter, 88, of Clovis, New Mexico ascended into the arms of the Lord on Friday, February 23, 2007. He was born March 28, 1918 in Megargle, Texas to Sydney Maude Case Hayter.

alignjustify He grew up in Rogers, New Mexico. He married Ozella Ivey October 28, 1940 in Lovington, New Mexico and they moved to Clovis in 1941. They are members of First Baptist Church. He retired from the Atchison, Topeka and Santa Fe Railroad where he was a locomotive engineer for 38 years. He was a member of the Brotherhood of Locomotive Engineers.

alignjustify He is survived by his wife Ozella of the home; 2 sons, Jerry and Dwayne Hayter; his grandson, Kris and 2 great grandsons, Grant and Mac.
