Alfonso A. Gonzales Jr, 64 of Texico, New Mexico passed away on October 25, 2015 in Clovis, New Mexico.

Funeral Services will be Wednesday at 10AM at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church . Burial to follow at Mission Gardens of Memories.

Alfonso was born in Clovis, New Mexico to Alfonso Gonzales Sr. and Mary C. Gonzales on April 22, 1951. He attended school at Texico High School in Texico. He married Susan McGown on May 29, 1976 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis, New Mexico.

Alfonso greatly enjoyed spending time with loved ones, attending mass, oil painting, playing guitar, traveling, fishing, playing video games and enjoyed various holiday seasons. Alfonso retired in 2003 from John Deere Dent & Co. after 13 years, He was a Lector for Our Lady of Guadalupe.

Alfonso Gonzales, Jr. is preceded in death by his loving wife Susan Gonzales, his mother Mary C. Gonzales and his father Alfonso Gonzales Sr.

Alfonso Gonzales, Jr. is survived by his daughter Christina Faircloth (spouse) Jeremy Faircloth, one grandchild Austin Faircloth, a sister Julia McGown (partner) Larry Schwartz, niece Melinda Hancock (significant other) Richard Vasquez, nephew Nathaniel McGown, niece Jennifer McGown, three great nephews: Damien Evans, Michael Hancock, James McGown, one great niece Sarah McGown and numerous cousins and close family friends.
