Allissa May

Allissa Breanne May, 20, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Tuesday, September 28, 2010, in Aurora, Colorado. She was born May 14, 1990, in Clovis to Richard and Teresa Bennett May.

She graduated from Clovis High School in 2008 where she was a member of the choir. She was attending the Art Institute of Colorado where she was a senior. She enjoyed singing, hanging out with friends, art and dogs. She will be missed by all who knew her and the universe at large. She was a member of 16th and Pile Church of Christ.

She is survived by her mother, Teresa May of Clovis her father and stepmother, Richard Joanna May of Clovis 1 brother, Mitchell May of Clovis grandparents, Alice Bennett of Clovis, William and Eileen May of Warner Robins, Georgia and John and Kay Prater of Clovis great grandmother, Nita Phillips of Clovis 4 uncles, Gene Bennett of Amarillo, Texas, Kevin and Lisa May of Arabi, Georgia, William and Shari May Jr. of Tifton, Georgia and Jeff and Eva May of Fitzgerald, Georgia 2 aunts, Amy Campbell of Clovis and Teresa May of San Antonio, Texas and a host of loved ones.

She was preceded in death by her grandfather, Don Bennett and her great grandfather, Hershal Chandler.

A memorial service will be held at 6:00 p.m., Thursday, October 7, 2010, at SteedTodd Chapel in Clovis with Allen McKinney officiating. Cremation has taken place and inurnment will be at a later date at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens.
