Alvirda Pahor

January 9, 1931 — July 8, 2018

Alvirda Delores Pahor, age 86, of Clovis, NM went to be with the Lord on July 8, 2018 in Clovis. She was born on January 9, 1931 to the home of Sparky and Ethel Young in Great Falls, Montana.

Alvirda worked for Capernwray Bible Schools (1974-1982) in California and British Columbia, Canada; the Firs Bible Conference Center (1972-1974) in Washington State; also Trinity Church (1978-1990) in Clovis and was founder of "Choose Life Ministries" (1990-2018) in Clovis. She worked as a missionary in Canada, Mexico, India and Ireland. Alvirda served as a consultant and on the Board of Capernwray Bible Schools in Thetis Island British Columbia. She was a bible teacher teaching and doing seminars for "Choose Life Ministry". Alvirda's favorite hobbies were spending several hours of every day studying the bible, teaching, painting, and working in the outdoors.

Preceding Alvirda in death are her: parents, Sparky and Ethel Young of Seattle, Washington; brothers, Bob Young and Ray Young. She leaves behind her: son, Mike Kindlund of North Carolina; son, Steve Thomas of Seattle, Washington, and daughter, Tammy Perry of Battle Ground, Washington; brother, Eddie and sisters, Iona and Dorothy.

Visitation will be on Thursday, July 12, 2018 from 12:00pm to 8:00pm at Steed Todd Funeral Home. Services to be held on Friday, July 13, 2018, 1:00pm at Faith Christian Family Church.
