Ana Bertha Acosta de Jauregui, 58, beloved mother, was called to her eternal resting place on March 7, 2021. She entered this world on July 9, 1962 in Alvaro Obregon, Chihuahua.
She was truly an amazing woman who always demonstrated love towards anyone she met and very dedicated to the church and her faith in God. She was married to Salvador Jauregui for 37 years and together they had 5 children: Erick Jauregui (Roberta), Alecxis Jauregui (Davina), Soledad Jauregui, Guadalupe Jauregui, and Annabel Jauregui (Vidal Morales Jr.). She came to the United States as a Mexican immigrant. She worked hard to learn English to get her citizenship so she could fulfill her dream of becoming an educator. She earned her General Education Degree and then went on to graduate from Eastern New Mexico University with a bachelor's degree in University Studies in 2014. With her degree, she became a head start teacher. She pushed others to be the best version of themselves and inspired others to follow their dreams. She loved to travel, and she loved being around family. She loved to dance. Every year, she made the most delicious tamales for the Christmas season. She also made the best charro beans for parties. She never left her house without looking her best, always having her hair done and wearing beautiful jewelry (including her mother's ring given to her by her children). She was very involved in her children's' and grandchildren's lives. She was their number one cheerleader for all sporting events, band performances, etc. She never missed a game or sporting event they had. She volunteered with her church youth and prayer groups. She was heavily involved in the community.
She is survived by her parents, Dolores Acosta and Josefa Alvarez, her five sisters, Mirza Acosta, Norma Acosta, Socorro Acosta, Leticia Acosta, and Marcela Acosta, and her six brothers, Fernando Acosta, Sergio Acosta, Juan Acosta, Edgar Acosta, Jose Acosta, Manuel Acosta.
She will be remembered for her positive and happy personality who loved to enjoy the moment and always wore her heart on her sleeve.
