Aneda Madrid, age 90, of Clovis, passed away on Saturday, April 2, 2011 at her home in Clovis. She was born on January 17, 1921 in Leyba, New Mexico to Adolfo and Rita Gonzales Lopez.
Aneda is survived by three sons, Ruben Sylvia Madrid, Ralph Madrid, and Angelo Madrid four daughters, Navolena Madrid, Josie Phillip Gonzales, Rose Telesfor Sandoval, and Yolanda Garcia 19 grandchildren 30 greatgrandchildren and ten greatgreat grandchildren and one brother, Tony Fina Lopez.
She is preceded in death by her husband, Alfredo L. Madrid two sons, Melito and Michael Madrid three grandchildren her parents, Adolfo and Rita Lopez two sisters, Rosita Madrid and Juanita Lovato and one brother, Hilario Lopez.
A rosary was held at 7:00 p.m., Monday, April 4, 2011 at SteedTodd Chapel. A Mass of the Resurrection will be held at 10:00 a.m., Tuesday, April 5, 2011 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church with Father Carlos Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Gonzales Ranch Cemetery in Gonzales Ranch, New Mexico. Casket bearers will be Phillip Gonzales, Jr., Johnny Madrid, Albert Garcia, Conrad Sandoval, Julian Gonzales and George Madrid. Honorary casket bearers will be Ray Martinez, Ruben Madrid, Jr., and Bruno Lovato.
