Ann Caroland

Ann Marie Eberwein Caroland, 88 of Clovis, NM, passed away January 19, 2015 at Plains Regional Medical Center.

Ann was born May 16, 1926 in Clovis, NM to Clarence and Mae Eberwein. She graduated in 1944 from Sacred Heart High School. After high school she went to Benson School of Business and graduated. She married L.C. Caroland in Clovis September 24, 1947. Ann was the co-owner of Caroland Garage and Auto Parts. She was the secretary of Sacred Heart Church and School for many years. Ann was a member of Sacred Heart Altar Society and a lifelong member of Sacred Heart Church. She loved cooking, baking and enjoyed taking care of her flowers and roses.

Ann is preceded in death by her husband L.C. in 2001, her parents, brothers; Tom, Gene, and Johnny Eberwein and sister Cathy Goodwin.

She is survived by her son Larry Caroland of Clovis, NM and Eddie Caroland of Clovis, NM. A sister-in-law Irene Eberwein of Clovis; 2 grandchildren and 6 great grandchildren.

A Rosary will be recited on Friday, January 23, 2015 at 7:00 pm at Sacred Heart Church. A Mass of Christian Burial will be co-celebrated by Fr. Sotero Sena and Fr. Rick Zerwas on Saturday, January 24, 2015 at 9:00 am at Sacred Heart Church, interment will follow at Mission Garden Memories.

Pallbearers will be Phil Lyons, George Boal, Pat Lyons, Steve Kriegshauser, Paul Lyons, and Jim Weede Smith.

The family would like to thank the nurses and techs on PRMC surgical floor. A special thanks to Hope, Jennifer, Lee, Debra, Jordan, and Sylvia of Presbyterian Hospice for their excellent care of our mother.

Memorial contributions may be made in her honor to Saint Jude's Children's Hospital in Memphis Tennessee.
