Anna Baucom

June 25, 1927 to August 31, 2014

Anna B. Baucom passed away at her home on Sunday morning August 31st at the age of 87. Anna was a member of Sandia Baptist Church in Clovis NM and was a retired civilian employee at Cannon Air Force base where she worked in the payroll department. Anna was also a member of the Eastern Star on Thornton Street in Clovis.
Anna had a love and passion for her garden and in growing flowers and vegetables. She was a life time member of Arbor Day who would annually plant a tree in celebration regardless if the tree died after planting. Anna was a very determined woman who didnt give up on anything easily. Having a red headed personality made her a very strong willed woman. She grew an assortment of vegetables which she canned to eat or give as gifts. Having an apple tree in her yard she created all kinds of assorted apple recipes using the canning technique. Her recipes ranged from plain apples, to sauce and even apple butter.
Anna had three children. Lee Therrell Hollis Patricia of Clovis NM, James Hollis of TX, and Dale Baucom Heidi of Laveen AZ. She also leaves behind 9 grandchildren and 4 great grandchildren.
