Anna Jones

Maurine was born November 12, 1922 in Canadian, TX. She passed from this world on November 6, 2007 at the Farwell Convalescent Center, in Farwell, TX. Her family moved to Clovis, NM when she was 4 years old. She met and married Neal Hudson in 1937, and later had three children; Marie, Harvey, and Marilyn.

Neal died November 11, 1967. One year later Maurine married John Jones and moved to Albuquerque, NM. John died a year and five months later, and Maurine moved back to Clovis to care for her parents, until their passing. She managed her rental property in Clovis for seventeen years, and was a member of the Forest Heights Baptist Church.

She is preceded in death by her parents, Chester and Addie B. Jones, her brothers, Orville and Joe Jones, two grandsons James Tomlin and Tommy Hammit, and one great-grandchild, Matthew Hudson.

She is survived by her three children; Marie Tomlin of Clovis; Harvey and wife Pat Hudson of Farmington, NM; Marilyn and husband Dee Hammit of Farwell, TX. Five grandchildren; Betty Hudson of Clovis, NM; Harvey Ray Tomlin of Shallowater, TX; Billy and Larry Hudson of Farmington, NM; and nine great grandchildren; Kelly Mae, Taylor, Anna Maurine, Emily, Delores Rose, Charles and David Hudson all of Farmington, NM; and Ryan and Maria Hudson of Clovis, NM
Services will be held Thursday, November 8, 2007 at 1:00 p.m. at Steed-Todd Chapel with Jason Schwope officiating. Burial will follow at the Melrose Cemetery in Melrose, NM. Pallbearers will be David Jones, Gene Jones, Harvey Ray Tomlin, Harvey Hudson, Dee Hammit, and Ryan Hudson.
