Anna Rickard

Anna Polly Rickard, age 82, of Clovis, entered into rest on Sunday, November 27, 2011. Polly was born on June 6, 1929 in Bronte, Texas to John and Ella Mae Richardson Carter. She married Wendel Slick Rickard on December 16, 1960 in Fort Sumner, NM. She loved to dance as a young woman. She loved her family, cooking, and fishing.

She is survived by one brother, Roscoe Jane Sikes Carter of Desoto, Texas three daughters, Charlotte Pace of Clovis, NM, Terry LeClear of Clovis, NM, Casann Chris Sutherland of Clovis one son, Donald Cynthia Rickard of Kerrville, TX and ten grandchildren, eight great grandchildren, and one great great grandchild.

She is preceded in death by her husband, Wendel Slick Rickard.

Services will be held on 2:00 p.m., Thursday, December 1, 2011 at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories. Casket Bearers will be Wendel Nix, Mikey Nix, Eric Dodgin, Rodney Smart, Kelly Carter Sr., and Kelly Carter Jr. Honorary Casket Bearers will be Joe Rickard, Steven Quick, and Justin Clayton.
