alignleftAnnette Garrett Ellison age 72 passed away Saturday, November 24, 2007 at the Farwell Convalescent Center in Farwell, Texas. She was born January 24, 1935 in Clovis, New Mexico to John and Irene Stockstill Garrett. She was a lifetime resident of Clovis where she worked for Garrett Law Firm as a legal secretary. She enjoyed going to the family cabin in the mountains, bowling, and playing the piano and the organ. She was a member of Central Christian Church in Clovis.
She is survived by her son David John Ellison and wife Jan of Clovis; three brothers Gene Garrett of Santa Fe, New Mexico; Michael Garrett, wife Clare and Malcolm Garrett all of Clovis; two grandchildren Shane and wife Alena Ellison of Parker, Colorado; Destiny and husband Joey LeTourneau of Fresno, California; three great grandchildren Savannah Burris, Mercy LeTourneau, and Tayler Ellison; and numerous nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents and one brother.
Services will be Wednesday, November 28, 2007 at 2:00 p.m. at High Plains Baptist Church with Charles Miller officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis. Pallbearers will be Larry Kirk, Jeff Wilkerson, John Winn, Earl Mitchell, Jamin Klein, and Shane Ellison. Honorary pallbearers will be her brothers and nephews and the men of High Plains Baptist Church. The family will be at 3500 Corlington Lane in Clovis.
