Annie Mae Bryant, 88, of Clovis, New Mexico, died Monday, June 8, 2009, in Carlsbad, New Mexico. She was born June 21, 1920, in Forrest, New Mexico to Northern Ruby Terry Ashley.
She grew up and attended school in Melrose. She married Ted Palmer April 9, 1938 and after his death, she married Raymond L. Bryant February 23, 1968. She was a homemaker and a member of 16th Pile Church of Christ.
She is survived by 2 daughters, Gloria Sue Schultz of Oxford, Alabama and Sherry Bunce of Trenton, Texas; 1 stepdaughter, Becky Peek, of Sacramento, California; 1 sister, Geneva Pirtle of Punta Gorda, Florida; 1 brother, Tom Ashley of Trenton, Texas; 15 grandchildren, including Brian Bunce, Tammi ORear Treca Boney all of Clovis; 17 great grandchildren and 4 great great grandchildren.
She was preceded in death by 1 son, Wesley Butch Palmer in 2001; 1 stepson, Barry Bryant; her husband Ted R. Palmer in 1964; her husband Raymond L. Bryant in 2001; her parents; 2 brothers and 1 sister.
A memorial service will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, June 21, 2009, at 16th Pile Church of Christ.
