Anthony Box

Anthony Louis Jim Box was born to Mary Catherine Kos Box and William Louis Box on November 14, 1930, in Grady, New Mexico. He passed away on December 26, 2009, at his home in House, New Mexico.brbrJim grew up in the Grady, Elida and Floyd, New Mexico. He married Zelma Colene Eady on January 18, 1951. They lived and raised their children in Portales. He worked as a well driller, mechanic, custom harvester and service station owner. He also served in the Korean War. brbrSurviving family members are his sisters, Ida Ilean Sis Polk of Odessa, Texas, Willie Marie Dink Meyer of Odessa, Rosa Anna Penny Gibson of Portales, New Mexico, Elizabeth Eugena Betty McCann of Odessa; his two daughters, Mildred Erlene Eubanks and husband David Eubanks of Portales and Jeannie Robbins of Clovis, New Mexico; two sons, Anthony Lynn Box of Alabama and Robert Randel Randy Box of Texas; eight grandchildren, Misty Box, Cody Guss, Danielle Collier, Tabitha Johnson, Ricky Dalby, Chris Dearman, Leonard Box and Aaron Box and 19 great grandkids, 10 of the ClovisPortales are and nine in Texas.brbrHe was preceded in death by both parents and his brother, Augusta Thomas Box and one grandson, Bartholomew Justin Guss. brbrCremation has taken place. Services will be held at a later date.br
