Antonio Soccio, Jr.

July 2, 1947 — October 24, 2012

Antonio Soccio Jr., known by family and friends as Tony, passed away at home surrounded by family on October 24, 2012. Tony was born on July 2, 1947, in Lewistown, PA, to Antonio Soccio Sr. and Thelma Campbell Soccio. After graduating from Lewistown High School, he served over 20 years in the United States Air Force receiving numerous medals and commendations including service in Vietnam.

On September 4, 1993, Tony married the love of his life Precilla Soccio. They moved to Anderson, SC in June of 1998 to be close to his son and grandchildren. After retiring from Sears in 2009, they moved to Farwell, TX, an area they had lived in for many previous years.

Tony is survived by his wife Precilla Soccio of the home son, Doug Soccio of Anderson, SC his stepchildren brothers, Greg Soccio of Dallas, TX, Ron Soccio of Lewistown, PA, Mike Soccio of Lewistown, PA, Nick Soccio of Lewistown, PA sister, Carmen Soccio of Colorado Springs, CO grandchildren, Matthew Soccio of Anderson, SC and Alexandra Sissy Soccio of Anderson, SC.

A Rosary will be recited at 7:00pm on Friday, October 26, 2012, at St. Anns Catholic Church, in Bovina, TX. Funeral Services will be held at 10:00am on Saturday, October 27, 2012, at St. Anns Catholic Church with Father Anthony Swamy Aakula, officiating. Graveside services will follow at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell, TX.
