Arnold Cross, 66, of Bellview, New Mexico, died Thursday, October 5, 2006 while visiting his brother in Bushland, Texas. He was born May 26, 1940 in Clovis, New Mexico to Arnold Loyd and Lula Johnston Cross.

Arnold was a fun loving and caring person. His love for children was immeasurable. He loved his family dearly and he never met a stranger. His passion was farming.

He was survived by his mother, Lula Cross of Bellview, New Mexico; wife, Julia Cross of the Philippines; 1 sister, Elvis Shields Travis of Hereford, Texas; 4 brothers, Emmet Cross Mona of Memphis, Tennessee, Don Cross Peggy of Clovis, New Mexico, Honel Cross Lupe of Hereford, Texas and Mike Cross Jovie of Bushland, Texas; 1 daughter, Dayna Weaver of Nampa, Idaho; 1 son, Shannon Cross Jan of Nampa, Idaho; 2 stepsons, Richard Ngillod and Tonton Puruganan both of the Philippines; 1 granddaughter, Tracy Kelley of Nampa, Idaho; 1 grandson, Daniel Weaver of Nampa Idaho and 1 step grandson, Clinton Worley. He was preceded in death by his father; wife, Letha Cross; son, Dylan Cross; brother, Bobby Cross and step grandson, Marcus Worley.

Services will be at 11:00 a.m. Tuesday, October 17, 2006 at the Broadview Church of Christ in Broadview, New Mexico with Don Thomas officiating. Burial will follow at Mitchell Cemetery in Bellview, New Mexico.

Casket bearers will be Kelly Tindle, Steve Henthorn, Todd Northcutt, Mauro Andawey, Boots Cross, Tom Mackechnie, Colt Cross and Colby Isbell.

Honorary casket bearers will be Brett Cross, Kordell Tindel, Aaron Tanner, Al Linsted, Marilyn Foster and all family members and close friends.

Memorial contributions may be made to the Shriners Hospital.
