Arthur Thomas Gallegos, 71, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away on February 20, 2022, in Pueblo West, Colorado.

A viewing will be held on March 4, 2022, from 4-8 PM at Steed Todd Funeral Home.

In lieu of services, his family will have a celebration of his life on March 12, 2022, at his home at 911 Hull St.

Arthur Gallegos was born in Clovis, NM, to Fred Sr. and Anne Gallegos on February 20, 1951. He went to Clovis High School. He was a veteran of the United States Army, serving two tours in the Vietnam War. He enjoyed fishing, music, and spending time with his friends and family.

Arthur is preceded in death by his parents, Fred Sr. and Anne Gallegos; a sister, Kathy Shroud; brothers Bobby Anaya, and Steve and Jimmy Gallegos.

He is survived by one daughter and son-in-law, Gabriella and Gary Hilliard; brothers Fred (Luann) Gallegos, Charles (Ana Martinez) Gallegos; sister Patsy (Mike) Chavez; grandchildren Caitlyn and Ernest Hall, Lindsey and Mason Hilliard, and two great-grandsons, Jack and Landon Hall, numerous nieces and nephews and countless friends and family, who were all an important part of his life.
