Audrey Knighton

Audrey M. Knighton, age 93 of Grants, New Mexico passed away January 7, 2012 at Grants Good Samaritan Center in Grants, New Mexico.

Audrey was born on March 30, 1918 in Patmos, Arkansas to Millard M. and Ida Bell Hatch Kennedy. She married Harold A. Knighton on March 23, 1945 in Texarkana, Arkansas. She was a longtime Clovis, New Mexico resident and a member of Central Christian Church.

She is survived by one son: Terry Lydia Knighton of Grants, New Mexico two grandsons: Dale Desirae Knighton of Grants, New Mexico and Elliott Knighton and fianc Amber Aranda of Grants, New Mexico six great grandchildren: Atalaya, Serai, Amara, Adynn, Isela and Toryn.

She was preceded in death by her parents, husband, one brother and one sister.

Services will be held at 10:00 a.m. Thursday January 12, 2012 at SteedTodd Chapel, 800 E. Manana Blvd, Clovis, New Mexico with Dr. Thomas P. Jones, officiating. Interment will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens in Clovis, New Mexico.

Casket bearers will be: Terry Knighton, Dale Knighton, Elliott Knighton and Serai Knighton.
