Avis Haile

Avis Pauline Stephens Haile, 91, of Farwell, Texas, died Wednesday, October 3, 2007 in Lubbock. She was born January 12, 1916 in Decatur, Texas to William M. Ida Smith Stephens.

She married D. C. Haile December 28, 1932 in Hamilton, Texas. She moved to Parmer County in 1959 and to Farwell in 1962, where she worked at Capital Foods Grocery Store. She was a member of First Baptist Church in Farwell.

She is survived by her son, Donald Glenn Haile of Lubbock, Texas; her daughter Juanella F. Haile Mouser and her husband Donald of Odessa, Texas; grandchildren, Allen Haile, Neal Haile, Perry Mouser Tommy Mouser; 10 great grandchildren and 2 great great grandchildren.

A graveside service will be at 2:00 p.m. Saturday, October 6, 2007 at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell, Texas with Pastor Kyle Clayton officiating.

The family will receive friends from 6:00 8:00 p.m. Friday, October 5, 2007 at the funeral home.
