Barbara Ohlsson

Barbara Bernice Ohlsson, 83, died Wednesday, May 8, 2013 in Lubbock, Texas. She was born February 3, 1930, in Ft. Leavenworth, Kansas to John H. and Mabel Leonard Jones. She married Billy G. Ohlsson June 28, 1952 in Leavenworth, Kansas. They moved to Clovis in 1958 with Cannon AFB.

She was preceded in death by her husband her brother: John H. Jones Jr. her sister: Dorthy Butzin and her son: Richard.

She is survived by her son: Robert and wife Debbie Ohlsson of Lubbock, Texas grandson: Jeremiah Ohlsson of Lubbock, Texas granddaughter: Jennifer Ohlsson of Midland, Texas and honorary daughter: Linda Beavers of Clovis, NM.

Barbara loved taking care of the children in the nursery at First Christian Church in Clovis. Her hobbies were bowling, reading, knitting and crochet. She was a loving mother, grandmother and sister.

Services will be 10:00 AM on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at First Christian Church, 1700 Main St., Clovis, NM with Jon Forrest officiating.
