Services for Barbara Pierce age 80 of Clovis will be held Monday, April 20, 2009 at 10:00 a.m. at the Church of Jesus Christ of Latter Day Saints in Clovis, pallbearers will be her grandsons. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Memorial Gardens. She was born June 8, 1928 in Magdalena, New Mexico to Sam Allison and Geneva Evelyn Dixie Bingham Moore. She passed away Wednesday, April 15, 2009 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. She married Claude Pat Pierce June 7, 1946 in Deming, New Mexico and was a homemaker.

She is survived by two children David Jackie Pierce of Sultan, Washington; and Raylene Gene Washburn of Clovis, New Mexico; two brothers Dave Moore of Radford, Virginia and Michael Bonnie Payton of Lubbock, Texas; twelve grandchildren, and seventeen great grandchildren. She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son Claud Pierce and four great grandchildren.
