Benito Rodriguez

Benito L. Rodriguez, 76, of Clovis, NM, passed away on January 29, 2016 in Lubbock, TX.

Visitation will be held Tuesday, February 2, 2016 through Wednesday February 3, 2016 from 9:00 AM to 8:00 PM at Steed Todd Funeral Home at 800 E. Manana in Clovis, NM.

A Rosary will be 9:00 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Thursday, February 4, 2016.
Mass will be 9:30 a.m. at Our Lady of Guadalupe, Thursday, February 4, 2016.

Benito was born in Praxedis Guerrero, Mexico. He married Julia Camacho Rodriguez in 1966. Over the course of his 76 years he worked as a butcher, laborer, mill worker and a mechanic. He loved to recycle. Benito was considered a Jack of all trades. He loved baseball, he was a huge Atlanta Braves fan. When it came to football, he was always rooting for the Dallas Cowboys. He adored his grand and great grandchildren. They were the apple of his eye.

Benito is preceded in death by his parents Alfonso and Maria, wife Julia, son Benito F., daughters Lorenza and Luz Maria and great-granddaughter Destiny M. Trevino.

Benito is survived by his children, Belinda Perales spouse Edwin Perales I, Mary Ford, Omar Rodriguez spouse Isi Rodriguez, JoAnn Paredes spouse Daniel Paredes and Michael Rodriguez. Two brothers, Rudolfo and Lorenzo, six sisters Manuela, Juana, Martha, Maria, Cruz and Josephina. Twenty-four grandchildren and nineteen great-grandchildren.
