Our dearly beloved husband, brother, father, and grandfather Papo passed away walking through the gates of heaven up above on Sunday night on February 2, 2014. He was 79 years old. He will be joined with his father and mother Prosporo Aragon and Eloisa Moya, a son, Mark Aragon and grandson Christopher Montez, brother Nester Aragon and nephew Rudy Aragon. He was a devoted husband married August 12, 1957 to Josie Rios Palomino for 56 years. He is survived by nine children, Francis and Fernando Corona, Benjamin Jr. Aragon, Sandra and Miguel Avilez, Johnny Aragon and Jim MacFarlane, Tony and Sylvia Aragon, Peter and Cippy Aragon, Paul and Charlotte Aragon, Matthew and Nellie Aragon, and Brian and Veronica AragonMontez. They were blessed with twentythree grandchildren and twentyfour great grandchildren.

Benjamin was born in Los Lunas, New Mexico, a retired military veteran, who served in the United States Army RA. from May 17, 1954 to April 1957, an Army USAR from April 30 1957 to February 24, 1963. He retired as Staff Sergeant E6. He enlisted in the National Guard on February 25, 1963 and retired in 1994, as well as one of the American Legion Post 25 members for outstanding services and assistance. He worked and retired in the Cannon Air Force Base and Tucson, AZ. Air Force Base, as a dedicated skilled plumber.

He lived in Clovis for 37 years and lived in Tucson, AZ. for 17 years. He presides and will rest in Clovis, N.M. There will be a viewing and prayer service on Thursday, February 6, 2014, at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel from 5pm to 8pm with Pastor David Lombrana leading. Funeral Services will be held on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Sacred Heart Catholic Church at 11:00 am with Father Carlos Chavez officiating. Burial will follow at Lawn Heaven Memorial Gardens Cemetery. Pallbearers are Cynthia Aragon, Makaylia Aragon, Marcus Aragon, Tripp Aragon, April Aragon, Miguel Jr. Avilez, Angie Visser and Tony Aragon, Jr. Honorary pallbearers are his grandchildren. Any donations are greatly appreciated.
