Berniece Mayfield

Rosa Berniece Mayfield, age 95, of Boise Idaho, formerly of Grady, NM passed away on Wednesday, December 21, 2016 in Boise, Idaho. She was born in Lodi, California on December 25, 1920 to the home of Miles Standish Frost and Rosa Elizabeth (Jeffries) Frost.

Berniece, loved farming along with her husband Luther; among farming she also enjoyed gardening and loved spending time with her family whom she loved dearly.

She is survived by one son, Edwin Mayfield of Denair, California; a daughter-in-law, Jackie Mayfield of Amarillo, Texas; and one son-in-law, Rodney Frazier of Boise, Idaho; 12 grandchildren; 27 great grandchildren; 34 great-great grandchildren with one on the way in June, 2017; and numerous nieces and nephews.

Berniece is proceeded in death by her husband, Luther Dow Mayfield; a son, Ronnie Luther Mayfield; a daughter, Jeanette Jean Frazier; and a grandson, Jerry Dow Mayfield.
Funeral Services will be held on Saturday, December 31, 2016 at 11:00 am in the Steed-Todd Funeral Home Chapel with Pastor Wayne Boydstun, officiating. A private burial will be held following the service in the Lawnhaven Memorial Gardens cemetery in Clovis, NM.
