Bertha Gonzales

Bertha Gonzales, age 87, of Clovis, NM passed away on January 8, 2014 at her home in Clovis, NM.

Bertha was born in San Antonio, TX on January 14, 1926 to Samuel and Ofilier Rodriguez Leyva. She married Juan Gonzales in Ft. Sumner, NM.

She loved to cook and listen to Christian gospel music and she loved interior decorating. She could make her home look very beautiful.

She is survived by two daughters: older daughter Mary and Ruben Sierra and Delores and Jesse Zamora two sons: Sammy Jose Flores and Hilda Vasquez and John Manuel Flores thirtyeight grandchildren and thirtyfour great grandchildren.

She is preceded in death by her parents, her husband and one son, Henry Flores, Jr.

Funeral services are at 10:00 a.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis, NM. Graveside services will follow at 2:00 p.m. on Saturday, January 11, 2014 at Ft. Sumner Cemetery in Ft. Sumner, NM. Pallbearers are Birdie Valdez, Melinda FloresHernandez, Belinda Sigala, Mellisa Flores, Neomi Guitierrez, Yvonne Preciado, Racheal Medina and Samantha Ramirez.
