Bertha Romero

Bertha Louise Romero, 59 of Clovis, NM passed away Sunday January 22, 2017.

She was born on March 14, 1957 in Ft. Sumner, NM to Juan and Cora Barela. Bertha grew up in Clovis, NM most of her life. In 1974, she married the love of her life Alex I. Romero from Lake Arthur, NM. Together they have 4 children. Bertha was a CNA and worked for the Retirement Ranch and Community Healthcare here in Clovis. She loved everyone graciously, but her greatest love were her children and grandchildren.

Bertha is survived by her husband Alex I. Romero; 4 children Dionicio, Ignacio, Michelle, and Alex J. Romero; grandchildren Anthony, Yolanda, Isiah, Reese, Sarah, Joe D., Diego, Jade, and Jenell; 1 great grandchildren Anthony Matthew Tofoya; step mom Lucy Barela; 2 brothers Harold and Johnny Barela; 7 sisters Kathy Haas, Cindy (Eddy) Garza, Martha (Ricky) Chavez, Susan (Rosario) Gallegos, Patsy (Louie) Cruz and Teresa (Matt) Hirt.

She is proceeded in death by her parents Juan and Cora Barela.

Funeral Service will be 11:00am, Friday, January 27, 2017, at Steed Todd Chapel. Burial will follow at Lawn Haven Gardens in Clovis, NM.
