Betty "Noodle" Burch, 80, of Clovis, New Mexico passed away September 21, 2015.
She was born March 6, 1935, in Accokeek, MD. She married Waylon Don Burch of Melrose in December of 1958. She loved to travel, go on cruises, was a member of MADD, she worked as a first grade teacher for 25 years at Lincoln Jackson Elementary School and taught first grade for 15 years at James Bickley as well.
Betty is survived by her daughter Cheryl Gene Burch of Clovis, her sons Cliff Burch (Patti) of Hobbs, Clay Burch (Kay) of Clovis; brother Johnnie "Gagum" Chapman; and sister Barbara Riley (Jim) of Maryland. She had three grandchildren, Robin Sefcik, Staci Kaufman and Hollee Spears; two great grandchildren Hadli and Hollyn Sefcik.
Betty is preceded in death by her husband Waylon Don "Grandpap" Burch; sons Clinton and Curtis Burch; Granddaughter Hollee Gene Spears; mother Lil Chapman; and her father John Chapman.
Pallbearers will be Matt Sefcik, Austin Spears, Jon Kaufman, Jack Nuttall, Derek McDowell, Danny Herry and Tim Lyman.
A funeral service will take place at the First United Methodist Church on 1501 Sycamore St Clovis, NM with Jeb Archey Officiating and the Eulogy given by Barry Lewis on Wednesday, September 23, 2015 at 11:00AM.
In lieu of flowers, donations can be made to the Hollee Spears Memorial Fund at the Bank of Clovis. 300 N. Main St. Clovis NM 88101. Donations will go to Hollee's chosen charity.
