Betty Hance

Betty Jo Hance, 83 of Clovis, NM died Monday March 10, 2008 at Plains Regional Medical Center. Memorial services will be held at 2:00 p.m. Sunday, March 16, 2008 at Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation. Burial will be at a later date.

Betty Jo was born July 23, 1924 in Holiday, TX to Dan Darling and Gladys Ann Kissie Pierce. She had lived at Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center on Norris Street for the past 9 years. The staff and residents were her family. She loved everyone. When she had a roommate she always made sure they were well taken care of. She loved people and she would do anything to help them. She and her friend, Margarette, loved to go outside and feed the birds.

She is survived by her good friend of over 40 years, Daisy Eaton, the staff and residents of Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center, and Daisy's children and nieces and nephews. She considered all of them her family.

She was preceded in death by her parents, and sister, Lorraine Rickman.
