Billy Snelson

Billy D. Snelson passed away September 22, 2022 at Wheatfields Senior Living Community. Born and raised in Clovis, NM, he returned to his hometown after four years in the US Air Force. He loved Clovis and could not imagine living anywhere else. A retired postal worker, he enjoyed playing golf, watching sports (especially the New York Yankees and the UT Longhorns), and travelling.

Billy was preceded in death by his parents Jesse and Willie Snelson, his brothers Bernard, Gene, and Floyd, grandson Shannon Jackson, and his loving wife, Nellie. He is survived by his step-children Roy (Terri) Jackson of Midland, Texas and Susie (Joe Frank) Wheeler of Amarillo, Tx.

The family will have a private memorial service and burial.
