Billy "Jack" Weaver, Jr., 67, of Clovis, NM went to be with the Lord on April 15, 2018 at his home in Clovis. He was born on August 11, 1950 in Snyder, TX to the home of Billy and Mary (Collett) Weaver, Sr.
Jack served for the United States Army and was a member of the American Legion Post 0014 in Albuquerque, NM. He married the love of his life, Pauline Kay Howard, on March 12, 1991 in Farwell, TX. Jack was a feed lot cowboy for several feed yards, including Bar G and Cattle Town. For years he worked as a ranch manager as well. In his younger days he also rode broncs. Up to Jack's passing, he was a self-employed truck driver.
Preceding Jack in death are his wife, Pauline Weaver; his parents, Billy and Mary Weaver, Sr.; brother, Bobby Weaver; and his grandparents. He leaves behind: sons, Craig Watkins of Leander, TX and Jeffrey Butler of Alamogordo, NM; daughter, Jennifer Earls of Stinnett, TX; and brother, Tommy Weaver of Burleson, TX; plus 11 grandchildren and 2 great-grandchildren.
A memorial service will be held on Saturday, April 21, 2018, 10:00am at Church of Christ on 16th and Pile, with Michael Harmon officiating. Honorary bearers will be Ted Collins, Mike Cabbiness, Chris Cabbiness, Gene Curtis, Chris Followill, Zane Brothers, Buddy Gully and the men @ Church of Christ.
