Bobby Dollar

Mr. Bobby Lee Dollar, 74, of Lubbock, Texas, died Monday, September 25, 2006 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock. He was born June 9, 1932 in Purcell, Oklahoma.

He married Bettye Lee Lovvorn November 27, 1954 in Texico, New Mexico. He was a farmer and long-time resident of Farwell, Texas, where he was a member of First Baptist Church.

He is survived by daughters, Delia Mitchell of Farwell and Ursula Dollar of Lubbock; sons, Logan Dollar of Lubbock and Heath Dollar and his wife Stacy of New Deal, Texas; 4 granddaughters and sister, Betty Parks and her husband Elmer of Roaring Springs, Texas. He was preceded in death by his parents, W. H. and Bernice Dollar; his wife and brothers, Billy and Buil Dollar.

Memorial contributions may be made to the National Kidney Foundation.

Pallbearers will be Steven Lovvorn, Dennis Dollar, Mike Woods, Tom Miller, Mark Miller, Brent Dollar, Clyde Dollar, Warlick Dollar, David Woods, Bruce Dollar and Terry Miller. Honorary Pallbearers will be Hollyann McIntosh, Hailey McIntosh, Katie Kinder and Braylyn Dollar.

Services will be at 10:00 a.m. Friday, September 29, 2006 at First Baptist Church in Farwell with Rev. Richard Laverty officiating. Burial will follow at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell.
