Bobby Gerald Howard, born October 22,1932, to Walter Dee and Ethel Henderson Howard in Clovis, New Mexico, passed away peacefully on February 13,2024.
He graduated from Clovis High School in 1950, and then attended New Mexico State University and played on the tennis team. He also served as Deacon at 21st Street Church of Christ. Bobby was a life member of the NRA. He was a farmer who enjoyed fishing, hunting and tennis. During his career as a farmer, Bobby won several awards from National Corn Growers. In 1951, Bobby married Letha Norton.
Preceded in death are his parents, sisters Helen Turner, Bernice Kennedy, and a brother Walter Dee Howard Jr.
Those left to cherish his memory are his wife Letha; daughters Donna Cox of Fort Worth and Karen (Mark) Anderson of Clovis; grandchildren Darcy Cox of Fort Worth, Ryan (Danielle) Cox of Edmond, Oklahoma, Brandy (Isaac) Gallegos of Salt Lake City, Bobby (Josh) Stevens of Salt Lake City, Weston (Ali) Anderson of Salt Lake City, great-grandchildren Colby Cox, Kevin Cox, Caroline Cox, Alexzander Gallegos, Daniel Gallegos, Amelia Gallegos, Macabe Stevens, Vivian Stevens; nieces and nephews Mike Kennedy, Cindy Kleyn-Kennedy, Mark Howard, and Greg Howard.
There will be no services and an Urn burial will be held at a later date.
