Bonnie Southerland

Bonnie Southerland age 92 of Clovis, NM died Sunday, March 23, 2008 at her home in Clovis. Graveside Services will be held at 11:00 AM Wednesday, March 26, 2008 at Mission Garden of Memories with Larry Mote officiating.

Bonnie was born January 17, 1916 to E. W. and Mary Phillips Chrestman in Texas. She married Samuel Augusta Southerland in Clovis and was a Medical Transcriber for the Clovis Memorial Hospital. She was a member of Highland Baptist and loved to read.

She was survived by her sister, Mary F. Gossett of Farwell, TX; two nephews, Thomas M. Sue Gossett of Portales, and William Ray Lee of Las Vegas, NV; two nieces, Bonnie Allene Altic of Ridgecrest, CA, and Nancy Ann Hallmark of Portales, NM; a great-nephew, Cory D. Gossett of Hobbs, NM; a great-niece, Sandy Smith of Portales, NM; and numerous great-great nieces and nephews. She was preceded in death by her parents, her husband, two brothers, and two sisters.
