Bonnie Tidwell

Bonnie Ruth Tidwell of Kingman, Kansas, was born February 3, 1929, in Anton Texas to Rev. and Mrs. C.C. Morgan. She went home to be with her Lord and beloved husband Saturday, January 14, 2012, in Wichita, Kansas. She and Ray Tidwell were married August 7, 1947 in Anton, Texas and lived for several years in Clovis, New Mexico, before moving to Roswell, New Mexico and later Logan, New Mexico a few years ago. Ray preceded her in death on September 4, 2011. She currently resided in Kingman, Kansas to be close to her son and granddaughter.

Bonnie graduated from Anton High School and attended Wayland Baptist University. She worked in the Curry County Clerks Office for many years. She was a member of Forrest Heights Baptist Church in Clovis, New Mexico. After she and Ray retired, they loved to travel and always delighted in being with their children and grandchildren.

She is survived by one son: Ronald Christella Tidwell of Kingman, Kansas granddaughter: Brandie Bobby Waldschmidt grandsons: Bradley Sofia Tidwell, Brandon Tidwell, Terrance Stacy Tidwell and Angel White great grandchildren: Logan, Garrett and Payton Waldschmidt and one sister: Pat W.T. Watson of Muleshoe, Texas. In addition to her husband Ray, she was preceded in death by a son: Lonnie Ray Tidwell and a granddaughter Shawnee Michelle Tidwell her parents, three sisters: Lila Lea Shockley, Marjorie Snider and Wanda Wilson and two brothers: Tom and Charles Morgan.

Graveside services for Mrs. Tidwell will be held on Wednesday, January 18, 2012 at 12:00 noon MST in the Texico Cemetery. Casket bearers will be her grandsons: Bradley Tidwell, Brandon Tidwell, Terrance Tidwell, Bobby Waldschmidt, David Watson and Ed Watson.
