Memorial Services for Brandi Marie Mares age 34 of Clovis will be held Tuesday, March 13, 2012 at 2:00 p.m. at Living Stones Community Church of the Nazarene in Clovis with Pastor Wally Yeager officiating. Brandi was born December 16, 1977 in Clovis, New Mexico to Loyd John and Maggie Wheeler Mares. She passed away on Friday, March 9, 2012 at University Medical Center in Lubbock, Texas. Brandi graduated from Texico High School and went on to College at Clovis Community College and online courses with California College where she earned an Associates Degree in Respiratory Therapy. She worked as a Respiratory Therapist in Clovis and Lubbock for the past 10 years. Brandi enjoyed spending time with her children, watching them play softball and the children said she loved her diet coke. She was baptized at Faith Christian Family Church.

Brandi is survived by her two children Rina and Matthew Chavez of Clovis her mother Maggie Sue Hernandez of Vernon, Texas three sisters Laura Haney, Brittney Chavez both of Clovis and Linda Haney of Hobbs, New Mexico one brother Larry Haney of Midland, Texas. She is preceded in death by her father, grandmother and an aunt.
