Brenda Kay McPherson, age 66, of Clovis, New Mexico, passed away at home on November 10, 2019.
Brenda was born in Amherst, Texas to Elmo and Pearl Grimes on August 28,1953. She graduated from Clovis High School in 1971 and began work as a civil servant at Cannon Air Force Base shortly after. Brenda attended courses through Eastern New Mexico University, completing many continuing education courses and received many awards throughout her 38 year employment. She retired in 2010.
Brenda was preceded in death by both parents, Elmo and Pearl Grimes. She is survived by her husband, David McPherson, brother Burl McCormic, several nieces and nephews, as well as many beloved friends.
Burial will be at Amherst Cemetery in Amherst, Texas, with private services to follow at a later date.
