Brent Inman, 51, went to be with his Lord Jesus on Wednesday, May 8, 2013. A Memorial service will be held at First Baptist Church of Texico, NM with Brother Donny Harbers officiating and Brother Russ Ponder and Pastor Seth Ellsworth assisting on Saturday, May 11, 2013 at 2:00 p.m. MST. Pall bearers are Wayne Anderson, Paul Reed, Ken Waters, Dwayne Hill and Roger Odegaard. Honorary pall bearers are Verbon Wilson and Dusty Leatherwood.
Brent was a native of Farwell, TX and is the son of Marlon and Karolene Inman of Farwell and the brother of Suzahn Horton and the uncle of Rockell and Ruger Horton of Texico. He is the nephew of Jim Towns of Nacogdoches, TX and great nephew of Louise Hancock of Farwell. Brent is the husband of 30 years to Lisa Holland Inman and they have one daughter, Holly and her boyfriend Skylar White.
Other survivors include: Motherinlaw Ginger Holland Webb Jimmy Webb, Brotherinlaw Randy and Kathi Holland of Clovis and their children, Sisterinlaw Glenda and Martin Green of Lubbock and their children, and Larry and Terry Holland of Lubbock and their children.
Brent loved the land. He was raised farming with his dad and granddads, Sherman Inman and Verney Towns. Brent graduated from Farwell High School in 1979 and attended HardinSimmons University where he graduated in 1983. Brent worked in Abilene, TX as an accountant for 25 years for Abtex BeverageDr. Pepper Pepsi Co. The Lord called Brent to move his family back home to the Clovis area to work with his brotherinlaw, Rocky Horton, with Mighty Vac Pumping Service. Brent loved working with Rocky until God called Rocky home in 2007. Brent, his dad and sister, have continued the family business. Brent loved working with his dad and will be sorely missed.
Brent was preceded in death by his grandparents Sherman Beatrice Inman and Verney and Mona Towns of Muleshoe, fatherinlaw Marvin Holland of Clovis, Brotherinlaw Rocky Horton of Texico and Great Uncle Mac W. Bigun Hancock of Farwell.
Brents greatest desire was for Holly to finish her college education. In lieu of flowers, Memorials may be made toward a scholarship fund for Holly at Citizens Bank of Texico. P.O. Box 88, Texico NM 88135.
