Byron Jones

Byron Sonny Jones, Jr., age 83, of Clovis passed away on November 14, 2011 at Clovis Healthcare and Rehabilitation Center.

He was born March 22, 1928 in Clovis NM. He married Ila M.Dusty Fromme Neal on May 25, 1953, in Warmsprings, CA. He was raised in Fort Sumner and Taiban, NM. He was a veteran in the United States Army. He rode race horses, rodeod, and raised pasture cattle. 1954 he was a feed lot manager and retired in 1994. He was a cowboy all of his life.

He is survived by his wife Dusty Jones of the home one daughter, Bonny N.J. Sorensen of Las Vegas, NV three sons Tony Dottie Neal of Bovina, TX, B. Kyle Susie Jones of Denton, TX, and Daniel V. Neal of Plano, TX eleven grandchildren and fifteen great grandchildren.

Cremation has taken place and services will be at a later date.
