Carl Goettsch

Carl E. Goettsch, age 82 of Farwell, Texas passed away on June 29, 2013 at Farwell Care and Rehab Center in Farwell, Texas.

Carl was born on November 22, 1930 to Ernest and Delcie Foster Goettsch in Happy, Texas. He attended school in Dawn, TX and Hereford, TX. He married Patsy Haney on March 14, 1949 in Clovis, New Mexico. Carl worked for Kirkland Pump Company drilling wells. He became selfemployed owning Custom Harvesting for over thirty years. Carl enjoyed gardening and woodworking. He was a member of First Baptist Church in Farwell, TX.

He is survived by two daughters: Colleen Stover Jerry of Farwell, Texas and Barbara Marion Tony of Clovis, New Mexico two sons: Carl Dean Goettsch Gay and Mike Goettsch Peggy both of Farwell, Texas one sister in law: Vera Blogett of Colorado six grandchildren: Rusty Stover of Clovis, New Mexico, Michele Polich of Portales, New Mexico, Tori Muscato of Clovis, New Mexico, Derek Goettsch of Lubbock, Texas, Devin Goettsch of Farwell, Texas and Crystal Juarez of Farwell, Texas and seven great grandchildren.

Private family graveside services will be at 11:00 a.m. CST on Tuesday, July 2, 2013 at Sunset Terrace Memorial Cemetery in Farwell, Texas with Bro. Russ Ponder officiating.
