Carlene Pyle

On October 25, 2010, Carlene Blackford Pyle, age 68, went peacefully to be with her Lord and Savior Jesus Christ. She was born to Carl Opal Pyle on December 5, 1941, in San Diego, California. She was raised in Clovis until she married and moved to Snohomish, Washington. She moved back to Clovis in 1976. She had worked at Social Services and Golden Age Nursing Home.

Carlene was a very loving, caring, and giving daughter, sister, mother, grandma, aunt and friend. She loved sharing her love of the Lord with others. She is survived by one brother C.C. Pyle, Sr. Patty of Melrose three children, Danny Knutson, Tamera Tucker Mares Richard, and Donna Tucker, all of Clovis six grandchildren, Crystal Knutson Marrujo of Clovis, Breann Tucker Ankenman of Tennessee, Jennifer Tucker of Clovis, Carlene Tucker Vallieres of Florida, Ryan and Joshua Mares of Clovis six greatgrandchildren, and several nieces and newphews.

She was preceded in death by her parents, one brother Dean Pyle, one daughter Debbie Knutson, a niece and a nephew.

Funeral Services will be held on Monday, November 1, 2010 at 2:00 p.m. at SteedTodd Funeral Home with Rev. Bruce Kirby, officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories. Casket bearers will be Casey Hollaway, Saphronia Hollaway, Phillip Salazar, Matthew Martinez, Luis Ulibarri, and Donna Tucker.
