Carlos Armijo

April 2, 1941 — March 28, 2013

Carlos Juan Armijo, age 70 of Tulsa, Oklahoma and formally of Clovis, New Mexico passed away on March 28, 2013 in Tulsa, Oklahoma.

Carlos was born on April 1, 1942 in Clovis, New Mexico to Juan Bautista and Marie Margaret Marez Armijo. He was raised in Clovis. He worked at Carlsbad Block and Supply. He lived over 30 years working as a carpenter. He moved to Tulsa, Oklahoma from California to be with his son when he became ill. No matter what the problems were, Carlos was always happy and able to joke around. He was a member of Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis, New Mexico.

He is survived by one daughter: Rita Elena Armijo of Palo Alto, California one son: John Juan Armijo of Tulsa, Oklahoma NephewBrotherBest Friend Tommy Montoya of Clovis, New Mexico ten grandchildren and one great grandson.

He was preceded in death by his parents and two sisters: Rita Dodge and Rose Sandoval.

A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Tuesday, April 2, 2013 at SteedTodd Funeral Home Chapel in Clovis. Memorial Mass will be at 2:00 p.m. on Wednesday, April 3, 2013 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church in Clovis with Father Fernando Saenz, officiating. Honorary Pall Bearers are John Armijo, Tommy Montoya, Tommy Lopez, Terry Dodge, David Dodge and Ruben Dodge. Inurnment will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis.
