Carsten Carroll Douglas was born into this crazy world on April 29, 1984 to Linda (Hinds) Douglas of Clovis, NM and Hubert Douglas of Zephyrhills, FL. He was born on Bitburg Air Force base in Bitburg Germany. He grew up in Clovis and Carlsbad, NM. He graduated from Clovis High School in 2002. He worked as a cook at Chili's, McDonalds, as well as a salesman at Holland's Office Equipment. Carsten was a true example of life, laughter, and love. He always made it his mission to get a laugh out of you and he was very successful at fulfilling it, even though, more often than not, you heard more than you wanted. His dream was to become a chef because he had a passion for food. He loved his family fiercely.
He is survived by his wife Vanessa Douglas, his daughters; Jaydyn, Aubrey, Graycie, and Josallyn, all from Clovis, NM. He is also survived by his mother Linda, father Hubert, grandmother Stella Hinds of Clovis, NM, grandmother Ruth Steans of Zephyrhills, FL, brother Michael Hinds of Lubbock, TX, sister Allyson Onsurez of Andrews, TX, and nieces and nephews that loved him dearly.
Carsten lost his battle with heart disease on December 12, 2016, at Baylor Medical Center in Dallas, TX.
