Catharine May

Services for Catharine V. Cathy May age 86 of Clovis will be held Friday, May 21, 2010 at 10:00 a.m. at SteedTodd Chapel with Loyd Brookshier officiating. Burial will follow at the Texico Cemetery. Catharine was born October 9, 1923 in Hereford, Texas to Charles Homer and Violet Juanita Denny Durham. She died May 17, 2010, in Portales, New Mexico.

She was a homemaker and a loving and caring mother to her three children and grandchildren. She enjoyed crocheting, embroidery, gardening, and fishing.

She is survived by two sons John May Rosie of Corning, California Jim May of Clovis, New Mexico one daughter Edna Taylor Ron of Conroe, Texas nine grandchildren seven great grandchildren brother Bill Durham Joan sisters Doris Brookshier, Bobby Gene Brookshier, Joyce Ostler Lee, and Betty Johnson Lynn many nieces and nephews. She is preceded in death by her parents, three grandchildren, and one sister Homeraine Shaw.
