Catherine Montano

Catherine Cathy Montano, age 67, of Clovis, NM, entered into rest on Monday, July 2, 2012 at Covenant Medical Center in Lubbock, TX. Cathy was born on September 3, 1944 in Clovis, NM to Frank and Felicita Sena.

Her favorite things were playing the slot machines, playing card games, scratchoffs, watching game shows , and working with crossword puzzles. She was well known for her homemade apple and prune pies and of course her chili. Most of all, she loved her grandchildren.

Cathy is survived by her three children, Donald Sena of Clovis, New Mexico, Ramona Sena and her husband Elijio of Clovis, NM, and Robert Montano of Clovis, NM her brothers and sisters, Molly and her husband Louis from Portales, NM, Frank Sena, Jr. of Santa Rosa, NM, Patsy Baca of El Paso, TX, Margie Lopez of Clovis, NM, Gloria Chavez and her husband Jimmy of Clovis, NM, Delores Chavez, of Clovis, NM, and Tommy Sena and his wife Lori of Clovis, NM grandchildren, Jason Griego, Chelsea Griego, Jeremy Duarte, Kade Duarte, Zachary Montano, Kaelyn Montano, Chalee Montano, Cambree Montano, and Joseph Sena great grandchildren, Jaslyn Griego, Jaiah Griego, Brynly Griego, Jerelin Duarte, and Jeselin Duarte.

A Rosary will be recited at 6:00 p.m. on Thursday, July 5, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church. A Funeral Mass will be held at 10:00 a.m. on Friday, July 6, 2012 at Our Lady of Guadalupe Catholic Church with Father Sotero Sena, officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories. Serving as Pallbearers are, Jason Griego, Jeremy Duarte, Kade Duarte, Zachary Montano, Joseph Sena, Fernando Lopez, and Frank Jenkins. Serving as Honorary Pallbearers are all her nephews.
