Cecil Spriggs

Services for Cecil Spriggs age 62 of Clovis, New Mexico will be held Wednesday, February 12, 2014 at 10:00 a.m. at Steed Todd Chapel with Nehemias Basit officiating. Burial will follow at Mission Garden of Memories in Clovis. Pallbearers will be nephews and church friends.

Cecil was born July 26, 1951 in Clovis, New Mexico to Walter and Geneva Martin Spriggs. He passed away on Friday, February 7, 2014 at Parmer County Medical Center in Friona, Texas. Cecil graduated from Clovis High School in 1969, he enlisted into the United States Army in 1972 where he served during the Vietnam era. He was a member of the Seventh Day Advent Church in Clovis where he enjoyed serving in many capacities.

Cecil is survived by his sister Betty Strange of Clovis a brother Ace Spriggs of Pueblo, Colorado nieces and nephews Jerrod Strange, Sheri Porter, Lee Spriggs, John Carmack, Jacob Wells, Felecia Austin, Robin Doyal, Richard Spriggs, Debbie Kelley, Donna Massey and Becky Spriggs and a host of cousins and friends. He is preceded in death by his Parents, brother Gerald Spriggs, brother in law Dean Strange, and sister in law Rose Spriggs.
