Celia Dawson

Celia Louise Wynn Dawson, was born in Georgia on January 1, 1931. She was raised in Americus and Atlanta, GA and lived in six different states throughout her life. Celia retired from Sears as a Customer Service Manager in 1992. Celia was the Thursday cook for the Portales Sevior Citizens Center and an avid domino player. Celia is survived by three daughters Wanda Ed Bentley of Buda, TX, Kathie Jim Good of Portales, NM and Robin Bob Mogelnicki of Rancho Santa Margarita, CA and a daughterinlaw, Denise of Roswell, NM. Celia is also survived by grandchildren, Michelle Bret Alexander, Laura Dawson, Grant and Hailee Mogelnicki, and a greatgranddaughter Sarah Alexander. She is preceded in death by one son David.

The family would like to thank the staff at Heartland Continuing Care Center for the love, kindness and respect shown to Celia while a resident.

In lieu of flowers, the family requests that you pay Celias kind forward by visiting and doing something nice for a person in a nursing home.

Cremation has taken place and a private family service will be held at a later date.
